The very worst thing the Nashville School District has ever done besides hiring Pedro Gomez was when he started this school uniform crap a couple of years ago. It is just a way to make parents who can not afford it to buy special clothes for their school age kids. A parent who has 4 or 5 kids in the school system spends a lot of money on nothing but school uniforms that look stupid and it also makes it easy to pick on kids who can not afford new uniforms every 6 weeks or so they do wear out and get torn when the kids play and kids will play hard. Lets spend this extra money on important things like food and paying the bills.

George Bush has one more day to rule this country and tomorrow we will put our new President in office. I can not see how he can do any worse than Bush did but only time will tell. I have seen the crowds that are flocking to Washington DC to be a part of this historic event and I would really like to be a part of this event but we did not vote for him here in Nashville and I guess I will have to watch from a distance this time.

With the truck in the shop I had to get a rental van to deliver the Sunday papers and make a short business trip to Huntsville Alabama. I hope that they get my truck fixed this week and I am able to get back to my day to day routine. I hate when I am displaced in any way shape or form, I really do like my routine the way that I have it set up. Things run better when you follow a path you are familiar with. I know they will find more wrong with my truck once they get started with the repairs they always do it seems.
