Over the next several months there will be so many places to see music played it will boggle the mind. The CMA Music Festival is this June as well as the big concert at Bonnaroo. Today it is rumored that Jimmy Buffett and a couple other major acts will be at Bonnaroo this year. It would almost be worth the mess and the huge ticket price to see him. I am glad that I am not going the wait to get in is several hours and they search you and your car most of the time, a big hassle for sure.

We went downtown to sit on the park grass and hear a new band, it was a lot of fun and I do not even remember the name of the band. I like hearing new music and getting a first look at new performers. Living in Nashville is a great way to hear a lot of music, and I will have to say some of it is not very good but we still give it a shot. One of our friends is trying to make it in the music business and she is very good, we went to a Cd release party of hers a while back and now she is touring Norway, now that would be some kind of fun for sure.

The very worst thing the Nashville School District has ever done besides hiring Pedro Gomez was when he started this school uniform crap a couple of years ago. It is just a way to make parents who can not afford it to buy special clothes for their school age kids. A parent who has 4 or 5 kids in the school system spends a lot of money on nothing but school uniforms that look stupid and it also makes it easy to pick on kids who can not afford new uniforms every 6 weeks or so they do wear out and get torn when the kids play and kids will play hard. Lets spend this extra money on important things like food and paying the bills.

Very early tomorrow I will head out of my warm bed in search of the elusive bargain, on Black Friday I will be out with many others in search of the same elusive bargain. Last year it was very hectic and I expect about the same this year, many people finish their Christmas shopping on Black Friday, and this year I have planned to do that very thing. If I can find the right deals I will be able to get my shopping done and not have to leave the house except to go to work for the next month. That would be a dream come true for me.

The fire season in the west is in full swing and it looks like California is a fire storm, so many fires and the winds keep the firefighters on the run. I would not want to live in a place that had fires like that and I am sure no one wants to live any place that has natural disasters like fires, floods or hurricanes. We have a lot of twisters here and they can be very dangerous and they can destroy entire towns that lay in their path. We have had some minor floods over the years but it is not an issue most of the time. I am so very glad that we do not have earth quakes that is the worst as far as I am concerned.
