Yesterday we finished loading the moving truck and we are ready to head south. This morning I gave the house keys to a trusted friend who can work with the real estate agent on our behalf. Its a sad day for my family.
Today my baby sister turned 46 and I am very proud of how she has handled getting older. Much better than I have I turn 50 this year and it is driving me crazy. Just the thought of getting older and not being able to do everything how I would like anymore is driving me crazy. I will keep plugging along and keep as busy as I can and try not to turn old if I can help it. I think your as young as you feel and today I am 103+. Maybe tomorrow I will be 18 again, lets hope for that.
The kids love to play in the water and some days it is very hard to get away to the pool or to the lake, so they have to make do with playing in the water sprinkler in the yard. This I do not mind at all the kids get to play in the water and my yard gets some much needed water on it at the same time. The pool is only about a mile away and I will not let my kids go there alone, call me old fashioned but I think the parents need to be at the pool with their kids. It is not a handy dandy baby sitter for the summer you need to be with your kids, for everyone to have fun at the pool.
My kids love baseball and they play every chance they get. In the back yard or on a team they do not care. So for our summer trip this year I am taking them to see a real live major league baseball game in Atlanta, I do not like the Braves it is just the closest team with a fan friendly start time for this trip. I know the kids will have a great time and so will I, I love baseball too. This will be a very fun trip for us and I can not wait till July for the trip to be here. My husband and I went on our first date to a baseball game and it has been in a sweet spot in my heart ever since then.
Just got a call from my sister in Oklahoma and she is snowed in. It is very nice here we have not had any snow at all this year, just a few flurries. I hope everyone is ok back home I know that the snow is a huge issue and when the people in Oklahoma call off school it is a mess, not like here where they call if school if they think it is going to snow. Not to mention the salt they put out in huge quantities whether it snows or not, what a huge waste every year just on wasted road salt.
